Airport

The airport is the church building.  Usually, when you drive by the airport you see many lights.  This is the place travelers gather to start their journey if they are traveling by an airplane.  This is also true in your Christian journey.  When you drive by a church and if there are Christians in it, we should see lights.  In John 8:14, Jesus tells the people, "I am the Light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life".   He also said as long as he is in the world he will be the light of the world.  In Matthew 5:14 Jesus says we are the light of the world.  A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.  Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.  Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.  Once we become Christians (Christ-like) by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we become lights.  The Greek word for the word light is phao; to shine or make manifest; luminousness.  Our bodies are also considered as the Glory of God’s dwelling place.  This light is also considered the nature of God.  1 John 1:5 says God is light and in him is no darkness at all. The church (building) is the place we assemble.  Any time there is more than one Christian in that building there should be more than one light, or the light should be enormous.
