You are probably thinking, Minister Beverly, I don’t know where I am on my way to. So let me share with you the requirements.
To go to Heaven the requirement is simple: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.
This is it my friend, accept Jesus Christ NOW as your Lord and Savior. (Romans 10:9-13) If you don’t accept him this will happen: And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him’ for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive my words, has that which judges him – the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak. My friend, if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior – you are heaven bound.
Say/Confess this prayer with me (Minister Beverly):
Father God I,________________ confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of the Living God. Jesus died onx the cross for my sins. 3 days later God raised Jesus from the dead. Holy Spirit I receive you. Come into my life. Lead me and Guide me into all truth. This is my prayer in your Son Jesus Name. AMEN!
You may be saying, Minister Beverly, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, but I have backslidden. I have turned my back on Him what do I do to get back into righteous standing?
Jeremiah 3:14 (NKJV) states Return, O backsliding children, “says the LORD; for I am married to you. 1 John 1:9 (NKJV) states If we confess our sins, He is faithful and jus to forgive us our sins and to cleanse from all unrighteousness. Confess your sins to God and then repent from dead works (sins). Acts 3:19 states Repent, therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. When you confess your sins and repent that puts you back in right standing with God.
Father God I,________________ confess my sins to You. (Confess your sins to God) Father, I repent from dead works. I understand that there are things I need to be delivered from through the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit. I will trust you with all of my heart and lean not to my own understanding, but in all my ways I will acknowledge You and You, through the Holy Spirit, will direct my path. When I sin, I will find a mature Christian and confess my sins with him or her, so that we may pray together to help me overcome it. This is my prayer in Your Son Jesus’ name. AMEN!
You may be saying, Minister Beverly, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, but I need prayer, or I need godly counsel- where can I receive prayer or counseling, or both from you?
James 5:16 (NKJV) states confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
